Beginning Card Class: Flower Birthday Card

Here is the last card that I did for my up-coming card class. For this one, I wanted to show my 'girls' that you don't really need a lot of stamping stuff in order to make cards. I also wanted to have them try stamping with Clear stamps.

Cardstock: Cypress cardstock from The Paper Company

Pattern paper: Brenda Walton 6x6 Desginer papers from K & Company

Ink: Handsome Hunter (SU)

Stamp set: Simple Sentiments (Technique Tuesday)

Flowers - from my stash

Gemstones from Hero Arts

Emerald - Baby Rick Rack from Wrights

Beginning Card Class: Birthday Present Card

Here's the fourth card we are doing:

Cardstock: from The Paper Company (Brocade and Cypress packs)

Pattern Paper: Pink & Brown Stripes (The Paper Studio)

Ink: Basic Brown (SU)

Stamps: Year After Year and Warmest Regards (both SU)

Other:

Ribbon: from Sweet Treat Ribbon SKU#444552 (from Michael's)

Twine: Brown (bought at my lss)

Button: from American Crafts Item #82128

Beginning Card Class: Male Birthday card

Here's my third card. I was asked to do some 'male' themed cards. Thanks to my girlfriend Madonna, who let me borrow her stamp set (Bareback).

Cardstock: The Paper Company (Cypress and Brocade packs)

Pattern paper: Country Large Stripes (The Paper Studio)

Ink: Chocolate Chip (SU)

Stamp sets: Bareback & A Little Birthday Cheer (both SU)

Beginning Card Class: Cupcake Birthday Card

Here's the second card in my Beginning card class. I should say that all cards are Birthday cards for my Beginning Card class.

Cardstock: All from The Paper Company (Brocade and Butter cream packs)

Pattern paper: Easter Time Flower/Pink Dot by Pebbles Inc.

Ink: Basic Black, Pretty in Pink, Pink Passion (all from SU)

Stamps: Cause for Celebration (SU) and Happy Birthday 01 (Stampabilities)

Other things:
Pink Flock (from Hobby Lobby), 2-way Glue (SU), Yellow stickles, Glass beads (Darice), Black Glaze (Sakura)

Here's what I did:
For the cupcake frosting, I used the Pink Flock.
For the candle, I used the Yellow stickles.
To make the cupcake paper darker, I used the Black Glaze (kinda makes it like embossed without actually embossing)
I used the beads and put it around on the yellow cardstock.

I also stamped 'Happy Birthday' inside the card.

My lastest Cards - Driving By - Beginning Card Class

Well, I'm doing a card class that a girlfriend wanted me to do. It's amazing what I can do when pressured! LOL!!! Since one of the ladies that is in my class has not done cards before, I needed to make these as easy as possible, without lots of 'frills'.

Here's my first card:
'Driving by'

Cardstock: Green, dark blue and beige - all from The Paper Company - Brocade and Cypress packs

Design paper: Hampton Kennedy Blue/Green by Scenic Route Paper Co.

Ink: Basic Black (SU)

Stamp set: Loads of Love and Loads of Love Accessories (SU)
