My Pink Stamper Challenge #9 - Take Shape

For this challenge, there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to use my Hello Kitty Greeting Cricut cartridge. Because I Love, LOVE Hello Kitty and because there are some cute cards on there.

I kinda messed up and didn't really look for the 'perfect' (in my eyes) stamp or something for the sentiment in the heart. The sentiment is a rub-on from Heidi Grace. The bling is Light Pink Rhinestones from Kaiser Craft .

Anyways...here it is...Enjoy!!!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #8 - Love My Color

Here is my card for "Love My Color".

This took me awhile to come up with. It is somewhat of the look I was going for but not totally.

I used a Core CS and ran it through my Cuttlebug for a nice stressed look. Since I used the Stylized CB folder, I wanted an Asian look. I used a retired SU set, Symbols of Solicitude, the word is "Joy". And the flower is from Prima Flowers.

Enjoy!!

My Pink Stamper Challenge #5 - Teacher Apprecation Day's

Here is my card for Challenge #5 - Teacher Appreciation Day's.

Awhile ago I had participated in an image swap and used a Stamping Bella stamp that would have been PERFECT for this challenge. Unfortunately, I used the two images I had for two teacher friends of mine. So...I had to go searching and thinking of what I could use.

I did not see anything I liked in my Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge or my Printing 101 Cricut cartridge either. Then I remembered that I had a cute Apple sitting on three school books in my Hello Kitty Greeting cartridge!

After cutting the apple and school books, I wanted to make the card look like a chalkboard - hence, the colors I used.

The sentiments are from a set of clear stamps that I just 'HAD' to have when I saw a card using those stamps. It is gracias, merci, grazie from Fiskars.

And here is my card:

My Pink Stamper #1 Challenge - Mother Dear, I Love You So

I know I am not going in order, so that isn't something new with me, right? LOL!

Anyways, this is for Challenge #1.

I bought this stamp when I was at Archiver's because I really liked the saying. I think it goes well with this challenge!

My Pink Stamper #11 Challenge: Colors of the Rainbow

Here is my submission for Challenge #11 - Colors of the Rainbow.

This was a bit hard for me to come up with a card. But then after thinking really hard and looking at my stuffs, I figured I could use a stamped image that I can color using the colors of the rainbow!

So...here's my card:
I used a Sugar Nellie stamped image that I got in an image swap. And I colored her mostlying using Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue and Green.

My Pink Stamper #12 Challenge

I am going to be posting some cards I did for My Pink Stamper's National Scrapbooking Day challenges.

This is for challenge #12 - Animal/critter.

New blog candy!!

Check out this blog. I love her cutesy dragons! She has blog candy to celebrate 100 fans on her Facebook page! You GOTTA check it out!

More new cards!!!

Hooray! I made two more cards yesterday! Hooray!!! That makes a total of Three cards this month! Oh my...that's like a record for me or something. LOL!!!

The owl card was made for a certain little girl, my niece Zoe. When I went back to Guam in January, I met her for the first time. I loving teased her by calling her 'Zorie' which is Chamorro (the native language of Guam) for flip-flops. Only because Zoe and Zorie sounds alike! Well....when I returned home to Colorado, I found some candy, in a box shaped like a Zorie! It was too adorable and I had, HAD to buy it for Zoe. The box is pink with owls on it. Hence, the reason why I made this card! I really love the inside!!! I hope Zoe likes it!!!
Whenever I'm anywhere new....I always have to look for any stamping/scrapbooking stores. While I was on Guam, we went to the Chamorro Village (it's like a little out-dooor market area. Lots of vendors with a lot of touristy stuff). Well...I found a stamp place and of course, bought stamps!!!
So, for my Hafa Adai card, I'm sending this card to a cousin here in the states, along with lemon powder (from Guam). I think the next time I make this card, I'm not going to use pink CS. I used pink because I colored the plumeria pink. Oh and talking about plumeria....the flower in the inside is a plumeria. It is one of my fave flowers on Guam!
Thanks for looking and laters Gators!!!

Cards I made today!!!

I *FINALLY* got crafty today!!! Yahoo!!! LOL!!!

I made two cards today...for January birthdays that I'm late for already. For both the cards I made, I used my Cricut. I used the Wild Card cartridge. It's a cool cart. The only problem I have with it, is when cutting the matching envie, sometimes you need CS or DP that is larger than 12x12. Now where do you find paper larger than 12x12? LOL!!!

Gift card:
CS - Misc. stash, probably from the Paper Company (Joann's)
Fiber - from stash
Eyelet - from stash
Stamps - both SU: Small Sayings (hat & inside saying), Tagger's Dozen (tag)
Ink - SU Pink Passion & Glorious Green

Cupcake card:
CS - Misc. stash, probably from the Paper Company (Joann's)
DS - American Crafts: The Glorious Fleece #39888
Stamps - Inkadinkado: Birthday Cupcake (on the front) and SU: A Little Birthday Cheer (inside saying)
Ink - SU Pink Passion
Stickles - Yellow (on the candle flame)
Smooch Spritz - Gold Glow
Thanks for stopping by!!!
Hugs!!!

FINALLY posting!!! Got cards!!!

Hi All!!!!

So sorry that I have not posted anything in such a long, LONG time!!! Been too busy. Life gets in the way!!!

Anyways....here are some cards I did lately!!!

Here's a Tilda card.
I did this for a swap in a group I'm in. It's a Purple and Yellow card swap. I used my Cuttlebug, D'vine swirls folder (one of my favorites) and my Rectangle Nesties (love my Nesties and have more on my wish list!!). I used my Tilda with Rose stamp. The "Love" is from 'All You Need Is Love' by Technique Tuesday. I used my SU markers to color. When I win the Lottery, I'm going to buy me Copics!! LOL!!! You can't tell, but the rose was stamped twice and attached with a pop-dot to stand out. And I used Yellow twinklette for her wings. Cardstock is from The Paper Studio (I think).
Another Tilda card.
For this Tilda card, my friend Becky sent me the image. And since I needed to do an Easter card for another group, I decided to use the image. Again, I used my SU markers to color. The DS is from Rusty Pickle - White Chocolate Bunnies (Velveteen Rabbit). Card stock is from The Paper Studio (I think). The flowers are from Prima 'Iced Got Flowers? (Summer Sun - yellow - and Rosy Red - pink). I used the real mini brads, I think it's from Queen & Company. The word stamp is SU, All Holidays.
Scraplings - birthday
For another group I'm in, I participated in a Birthday scrapling swap. It was the first time for me to do a swap like this. And I had fun doing it! I used a Studio G Mini clear stamp set for this. I used scraps in my scrap bin. The wording is "You're only a kid once, but you can be young for a lifetime". I used my SU tag punches for the word. The flowers are Flora Doodles, Purple Passioin Mini Florettes by Petaloo. In the inside, I have "Happy birthday" stamped in there.
Pop-up card.
On March 21, two of my friends and I went to a pop-up card class held by our local library. In one of the groups I'm in, I am participating in the Birthday club. And one of the April ladies birthday is coming up. And I wanted to do a pop-up card. She liked Yellow and Hunter green, so I used those colors for her. I used my D'Vine swirls embossing folder (CB). Then, I used a new CB die (well, new from last year), Birthday Wishes die. The DS, I don't remember who made it, I cut the presents from it. Green CS is Handsome Hunter from SU. The Yellow CS, I don't know. The "Celebrate" stamp is from That's Jazzy Stamp Dreams. It was stamped in Handsome Hunter ink (SU). I don't remember how I came across her blog, but she was giving away stamps to celebrate her opening. The balloon stamp is from SU - Birthday Whimsey, stamped with Ballet Blue and Elegant Eggplant ink pads (SU). I used Pastel Blue & Lavendar Scrapbook stitches from Making Memories for the string. The birthday cake is from 'You Take the Cake' from MFT. It was stamped twice - first in the same yellow CS. Cut and used Yellow Stickles for the candles. The second time was stamped on beige CS, colored with SU markers, Certainly Celery and Glorious Green and Green stickles. I used pop-dots to pop out the cake.

I Hope you all enjoy my cards!!!

Hugs!!
