Thank you Cards

Hubby and I have been 'visiting' a church, LDS. We have met some really nice people there. They are so nice, friendly and caring.

In December, the Bishopic, gifted us with a Christmas dinner (turkey, dressing, various canned goods, turkey gravy, dessert). It was totally unexpected, but a real blessing.

Also, a couple from the ward, who have turned out to be really great friends (the Steel's), gifted us with a surprise too. A movie-night bucket (popcorn, Welch's sparkling cider, $5 gc to Blockbuster, popcorn bowls and a cookie mix).

And finally, another family from the ward has been super nice to us, the Fairbanks. Dropped off some cookies and invited us to listen to Christmas music before Christmas. And then dropped off Marintelli's Sparkling Cider for New year's). They also have been really helpful too.

Here are my cards for the ward.

FINALLY posting!!! Got cards!!!

Hi All!!!!

So sorry that I have not posted anything in such a long, LONG time!!! Been too busy. Life gets in the way!!!

Anyways....here are some cards I did lately!!!

Here's a Tilda card.
I did this for a swap in a group I'm in. It's a Purple and Yellow card swap. I used my Cuttlebug, D'vine swirls folder (one of my favorites) and my Rectangle Nesties (love my Nesties and have more on my wish list!!). I used my Tilda with Rose stamp. The "Love" is from 'All You Need Is Love' by Technique Tuesday. I used my SU markers to color. When I win the Lottery, I'm going to buy me Copics!! LOL!!! You can't tell, but the rose was stamped twice and attached with a pop-dot to stand out. And I used Yellow twinklette for her wings. Cardstock is from The Paper Studio (I think).
Another Tilda card.
For this Tilda card, my friend Becky sent me the image. And since I needed to do an Easter card for another group, I decided to use the image. Again, I used my SU markers to color. The DS is from Rusty Pickle - White Chocolate Bunnies (Velveteen Rabbit). Card stock is from The Paper Studio (I think). The flowers are from Prima 'Iced Got Flowers? (Summer Sun - yellow - and Rosy Red - pink). I used the real mini brads, I think it's from Queen & Company. The word stamp is SU, All Holidays.
Scraplings - birthday
For another group I'm in, I participated in a Birthday scrapling swap. It was the first time for me to do a swap like this. And I had fun doing it! I used a Studio G Mini clear stamp set for this. I used scraps in my scrap bin. The wording is "You're only a kid once, but you can be young for a lifetime". I used my SU tag punches for the word. The flowers are Flora Doodles, Purple Passioin Mini Florettes by Petaloo. In the inside, I have "Happy birthday" stamped in there.
Pop-up card.
On March 21, two of my friends and I went to a pop-up card class held by our local library. In one of the groups I'm in, I am participating in the Birthday club. And one of the April ladies birthday is coming up. And I wanted to do a pop-up card. She liked Yellow and Hunter green, so I used those colors for her. I used my D'Vine swirls embossing folder (CB). Then, I used a new CB die (well, new from last year), Birthday Wishes die. The DS, I don't remember who made it, I cut the presents from it. Green CS is Handsome Hunter from SU. The Yellow CS, I don't know. The "Celebrate" stamp is from That's Jazzy Stamp Dreams. It was stamped in Handsome Hunter ink (SU). I don't remember how I came across her blog, but she was giving away stamps to celebrate her opening. The balloon stamp is from SU - Birthday Whimsey, stamped with Ballet Blue and Elegant Eggplant ink pads (SU). I used Pastel Blue & Lavendar Scrapbook stitches from Making Memories for the string. The birthday cake is from 'You Take the Cake' from MFT. It was stamped twice - first in the same yellow CS. Cut and used Yellow Stickles for the candles. The second time was stamped on beige CS, colored with SU markers, Certainly Celery and Glorious Green and Green stickles. I used pop-dots to pop out the cake.

I Hope you all enjoy my cards!!!

Hugs!!
